Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how HAKEEM AI (PRIVATE) LIMITED (“Hakeem AI”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a company incorporated in Pakistan under the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit hakeem.med, request a demo, contact us, or communicate with us over WhatsApp (together, the “Services”).
By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Information you give us. Your name, email address, phone number, WhatsApp number, organisation or clinic name, professional role, the size of the patient population you follow, and anything else you choose to include when you request a demo, fill in a form, or contact us.
- Messages. The content and metadata of messages you exchange with us, including over WhatsApp, email, or other channels.
- Usage and device information. IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, and time spent on the site, collected automatically through analytics tools.
- Cookies and similar technologies. Small files placed on your device to keep the site working correctly and to measure traffic. See section 7.
We do not ask you to submit patient health information through this website, and you should not do so.
2. How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Services;
- Arrange and follow up on a demo or introductory call you asked for;
- Respond to your enquiries and provide customer and technical support;
- Send you service-related and, where you have opted in, promotional messages about Hakeem AI, including over WhatsApp;
- Understand how the Services are used and improve them;
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical problems;
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
3. WhatsApp and Meta Business messaging
We use the WhatsApp Business Platform, provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. and its affiliates, to communicate with people who have given us their WhatsApp number and consented to be contacted.
- We send messages only to numbers where the user has opted in, for example by submitting a form on our website, requesting information, or messaging us first.
- Messages may include service updates, responses to your enquiries, onboarding information, and — where you have opted in — occasional updates about Hakeem AI.
- Message content is transmitted and processed through WhatsApp and is also subject to WhatsApp’s Privacy Policy.
- You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by emailing info@hakeem.med. We will stop sending you non-essential messages.
4. Legal bases for processing
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on: your consent (for marketing and WhatsApp messaging); performance of a contract (to provide the Services you request); our legitimate interests (to operate, secure, and improve the Services); and compliance with legal obligations.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers who process data on our behalf — including hosting, database, analytics, email, and messaging providers — under contracts requiring them to protect it and use it only for the services they provide to us. Forms submitted on this website are delivered to us by Web3Forms, which passes the submission to our inbox;
- Meta / WhatsApp, to the extent necessary to deliver messages you have consented to receive;
- Legal and safety recipients, where we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Hakeem AI, our users, or others;
- Successors, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy continuing to apply.
6. International transfers
We are based in Pakistan, and our service providers may store or process information in other countries whose data protection laws differ from those of your country. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we take steps to ensure it remains protected consistently with this Policy.
7. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site and to understand traffic. We use Google Analytics, which sets cookies and collects usage data to help us measure how visitors use the site. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings; some parts of the site may not function properly if you do.
8. Data retention
We keep personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy — including to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements — after which we delete or anonymise it. Enquiry and waitlist information is retained until you ask us to remove it or until it is no longer needed.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your rights and choices
Subject to applicable law, you may request to access, correct, update, or delete the personal information we hold about you; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent you have given; and opt out of marketing communications. To exercise any of these rights, email info@hakeem.med. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.
To request deletion of your data specifically, see our Data Deletion Instructions.
11. Children’s privacy
The Services are intended for healthcare professionals and other adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Third-party links
The Services may link to third-party websites and services that we do not control. This Policy does not apply to them, and we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Please review their policies before providing them with information.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through the Services or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
